DROID

I've been a Verizon user for quite some time. Recently, I've been thinking some iphone thoughts, considering switching over to ATT but the expensive plan and poorer service areas have been a turnoff. Reviews seem to be relatively positive for the new DROID from Verizon/Nokia. It will definitely be a strong contender for my next phone. I will wait for a bit and see what consumers think once they get their hands on the DROID after next week's release

Auto repair

Why is it that when you go in to do something small (oil change), it ends up being more than that? Problem is that sometimes there are other things that need to be fixed, but sometimes they use our naivety to earn a few more bucks. My $22 oil change just turned into $200, but I do feel better about my car. Did I get scammed? Maybe, though those belts they showed me were almost shredded. Anyway, I guess it's worth it for the peace of mind but would sure be nice to know someone who had auto mechanic skills!

Windows 7 vs Snow Leopard

I don't know about you, but I am really enjoying watching the competing Ads from Microsoft vs. Apple. I really enjoy this one by apple.

It really hits home with may PC users and is just plain... funny! It's also interesting to see that apple is scared by Windows 7, which is a big improvement over Vista (trust me, my work machine is running much faster now!) Anyways, keep an eye out for the cat-fight between Apple and Microsoft, it's going to be a good one!
